Description
Does he really love the shoes? No. Are you kidding, it is all about the box. Out of curiosity and playfulness, he checks it out. Could there be prey inside? Real, imaginary, or both? He jumps inside the box, attacks the corners and finds nothing. He does find, however, it is a perfect fit. Purr. Does he love the box? Yes, he does.
This version of 'I Love New Shoes' is the center of the painting without the framed painted area and it is 11.5" x 17.5" in original size. Have a look at the version with the frame to see the trompe l'oeil frame. I have included this version as you may want to chose your own method of presentation.
