Artist's Description

As part of a series of work, this was inspired by the ruins at Uxmal, Mexico, the Mayan rain god, Chac. It is a collograph print which is a plate made of various textured items into the design. Then I inked the plate and printed through a press, this one was done with 2 printings, the first in color then the second printing with black ink in the intaglio method. This is number 2 of an edition of 6.
