Description

From the Toro Muerto series, this image was printed on black paper and is number 1 of 2. The petroglyphs of Toro Muerto are located in the desert of the Majes Valley in the Arequipa region in Southern Peru. Among the volcanic boulders in the desert, there are about 2600 documented petroglyphs dating almost 2,000 years old from the Wari culture.
