This was in a tiny courtyard of a chapel in France where a wedding was being held and it was so warm and inviting! I was drawn to this window and all the textures and soft colors in the wall, an interesting background for the flowers in the trough. Handmade paper collage with acrylic paint.

Welcome to my gallery! I am an artist/printmaker, currently living in Whangarei, New Zealand. What I love, where I live, and especially where I have traveled inspire the art you will see here. Recent works are acrylic paintings, watercolor, mixed media, monotypes, and digital art. , I have had a keen interest in archaeology and the art of ancient civilizations for many years, especially as I studied ancient art and Pre-Columbian art history at the University of North Carolina-Asheville, where I received a BFA in 1994. With my focus in printmaking, I developed a body of work inspired by the Aztec and Mayan pyramids in Mexico.
