Artist's Description
*Please Note: The frame is not a real frame, it is part of the painting, Trompe l'oeil," to fool the eye".
This is Dude doing what he does best: hangin' out in his camp chair with his beloved catnip doggie. Experimenting with Trompe l'oeil, "to fool the eye", I have painted a shabby chic frame around the main image. This original painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting also covers the sides, so it really looks like a framed painting hanging on the wall! Acrylic painting on canvas 18" x 24".
